Sorensen wraps up World of Outlaws swing with podium outing at Bedford Speedway

Back with the World of Outlaws for a Northeast sweep, Dustin Sorensen checked into Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon to open up the four-day weekend with the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series.

Finishing second in his heat race, Sorsensen started from the fourth-row in the $12,000-to-win weekend opener and recorded a Top-10 finish in eighth.

Losing Friday's opening show at Marion Center (Pa.) Raceway to Mother Nature, Dustin had a disappointing run on Saturday night with a 20th-place finish.

Wrapping up the weekend at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway on Sunday night, Sorensen picked up a heat race win and redrew the No. 4 to start on the second-row of the main event. In the $20,000-to-win finale, Dustin landed a podium finish in third behind Tim McCreadie and Bobby Pierce.
