Pulkrabek competes in tripleheader weekend

Gage Pulkrabek returned to Knoxville Raceway over the weekend as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series rolled into town for the two-day Premier Chevy Dealers Clash.

With more than 60 of the nation’s top Sprint Car drivers in attendance, Pulkrabek was unable to transfer into the A-Main on either night, but gained valuable seat time in preparation for August’s Knoxville Nationals. His weekend ended with a C Feature appearance on Friday and a D Feature run on Saturday.

The Minnesota native wrapped up his weekend at Huset’s Speedway on Sunday, where he was awarded a provisional starting spot in the 25-lap feature. However, Pulkrabek ultimately elected to sit out the main event.
