Top-10 finish at Vado for Ahumada Jr.
On Saturday, Carlos Ahumada Jr. climbed aboard his Hacienda Motorsports No. 65x Modified for the first time in just over a month to compete in a 26-car field at Vado (New Mexico) Speedway Park.
He took fifth in his heat race on the 3/8-mile clay oval and began the 25-lap USRA Modified feature from the 15th position.
Ahumada advanced an impressive eight spots in the main event and finished seventh.
