Nothdurft rolls to fourth and eighth-place finishes at Stuart and Independence
In Iowa for the weekend, Blair Nothdurft followed the Malvern Bank West & East Series to Stuart (Iowa) Speedway on Friday evening and Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
Topping his qualifying group, Nothdurft made up one spot in his heat race which placed him on the front-row for the $3,000-to-win feature. Blair held the top spot two times in the 30-lap main event but eventually fell back to fourth when the checkered flag flew.
The following night at Indenpendence, Blair started further back on the starting grid but still managed a Top-10 finish as he charged from 14th-to-8th.
