Ashton Winger pilots Big Frog Motorsports No. 58 in Prairie Dirt Classic

Drawing a stout field of 81 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries for a round of preliminary features, Winger picked up a $500 payday for topping the charts in time trials. After setting the pace for most of the race, Ashton ran into power steering issues on the final lap that dropped him to seventh when the checkered flag flew.

Racing to a runner-up finish in his consolation event on Saturday, Ashton locked into the 22nd-starting position for the $50,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic. He was credited with a 23rd-place finish in the 100-lapper after pulling off on lap 49.
