Engine issues sideline Moos at Spoon River

With a stout field of 42 Late Models entered for the third annual One of the Road, Moos stopped the clock fourth-fastest in his group before streaking to a heat race win. Starting the $22,022-to-win A-Main in fourth, Myles was an early retiree from the 50-lapper with six circuits remaining.
On Saturday, Myles visited Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned Tom Knowles Memorial. Following a third-place finish in his heat race, Moos was up to third in the feature and closing in on the front runners when he ran into terminal motor issues on lap 20, bringing a disappointing end to his weekend.
