Daulton Wilson visits Volusia Speedway Park for World of Outlaws season opener
After Mother Nature spoiled Thursday’s opener, Daulton Wilson and the JRR Motorsports team joined the World of Outlaw Late Model Series at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for their season opening weekend.
With almost 60 Late Models packed in the pit area, Wilson qualified 10th-fastest in his group but fell back four positions in his heat race. Daulton was unable to transfer out of his last chance showdown.
On Saturday, Daulton once again struggled in his heat race which caused him to miss the $20,000-to-win finale.
