American Late Model Iron-Man Series
Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series takes on World of Outlaws at Atomic Speedway April 4-5
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (March 31, 2025)—The 2025 campaign for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP will kick off on April 4-5 at Atomic Speedway in Waverly, Ohio with over $119,000 in prize money going out the door in the opening weekend. Both events are co-sanctioned with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio is the defending Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP champion. Second through tenth in the final 2024 points included Seth Daniels, Rod Conley, Ryan Missler, Devin Shiels, Austin Lay, Rob Anderzack, R.J. Conley, Billy Green & Shane Bailey.
Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill. leads the World of Outlaws Late Model Series points chase heading into Atomic Speedway with a 30-point advantage over Ryan Gustin of Marshalltown, Iowa, Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, N.C., Drake Troutman of Hyndman, Pa. & Max Blair of Centerville, Pa.
On Friday April 4, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man and World of Outlaws Late Model Series will both race for $12,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start in the “Spring Cleaning 35” event. On Saturday April 5, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man and World of Outlaws Late Model Series will both race for $15,000-to-win and $1,200-to-start in the “Fireball 50” event. The tire rule each night will be:
Left Rear & Fronts: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3
Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4
The weekend will follow the World of Outlaws Late Model Series rules and regulations. Drivers must be a 2025 DIRTcar member to race while the entry fee is $125 per night or $250 for the weekend which includes a DIRTcar Membership. Other competitor notes include no signal sticks of any kind allowed. One provisional will be given each night to the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series based off of the 2024 final points and drivers must make an attempt to start their last assigned race to be eligible for the provisional. Also, each night will be equal show up points for all American Late Model Iron-Man Series competitors.
