Jason Jameson powers to Marvin O'Neal Memorial victory at Paragon Speedway

Claims Inaugural NALMS Event at Indiana Oval

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (4/21/25) – Less than a week after his teammate Daulton Wilson celebrated a career payday, Jason Jameson reversed his early-season struggles with a $10,071 triumph in Friday’s Marvin O’Neal Memorial at Paragon Speedway.

The pilot of the JRR Motorsports / MGL Auto Sales / Keltner Contracting No. 12 Longhorn Chassis Late Model outpaced early front-runner Hudson O’Neal to claim his first win of the season in just his fourth start.

“Man, I will tell you what we have had a monkey on our back this year,” Jameson said. “We’ve made one lap with two DNF’s, the car breaks or stupid stuff that is out of our hands, but finally we didn’t break tonight and got the finish we needed. I told the guys I don’t care if we win or run in the top five, I just want to finish the race tonight. It’s a plus for us tonight to get to victory lane with no DNF.”

Jameson was joined by his JRR Motorsports teammate Daulton Wilson on Friday afternoon at Paragon (Ind.) Speedway, after impending weather prompted officials to move the Northern Allstars Late Model Series event up by a day.

With 30 Late Model entries on the grounds for the inaugural Marvin O'Neal Memorial, Jameson clocked in sixth-quickest in his qualifying group before finishing second in his heat, securing a fourth-row starting position for the 50-lap feature. The Lawrenceburg, Indiana native swiftly carved his path to the front, powering past Hudson O'Neal with a third-to-first move following a lap-35 restart. In command over the final 15 circuits, Jameson kept O’Neal at bay to claim the $10,071 victory—his first of the 2025 campaign.

Jameson’s teammate, Daulton Wilson, faced a challenging night despite qualifying second-fastest in his group. After running as high as third, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series regular slid over the berm on lap 35 and ultimately retired eight laps later, relegating him to 18th in the final rundown.
