Season Openers for Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series May 2 & 3 at Attica and Fremont

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (April 28, 2025)—After three-straight rainouts to start the 2025 campaign of the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP, the series hopes the opening weekend of May will be the charm as the tour kicks off action at Attica (OH) Raceway Park on Friday May 2 and Fremont (OH) Speedway on Saturday May 3.

On Friday May 2 at Attica Raceway Park, the Inaugural Stephen Wagner Memorial will pay $5,049-to-win and $549-to-start the 30-lap feature. This will be RPM Performance Parts & Morgan Stanley Night at the track. In addition to the American Late Model Iron-Man Series, the 305 Sprints, Dirt Trucks & Vintage Cars will also be on the racing card. This will mark the 44th series visit to Attica Raceway Park. If you can’t make it to Attica Raceway Park on May 2, you can watch all of the action LIVE on DIRTVision.

At Attica Raceway Park on Friday May 2, the pits and stands will open at 5:00 pm, the drivers meeting is slated for 6:00 pm and hot laps rolling out around 6:30 pm. Adult general admission is $25 with teens 11-15 admitted for $10 and kids 10 and under are free. An adult pit pass will be $40.

Special awards for Attica also include a $200 “Longest Haul Award” presented by Jamie Miller Trucking. The Australian Pursuit in honor of Larry Scott, immediately following the feature event, will feature the fastest six qualifiers competing six laps for $1,049 to the winner and $249 for second spot. On Saturday May 3 at Fremont Speedway, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will race for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start the 30-lap feature event. Also in action during Plaza Lanes & Kid’s Take Over Night, the 305 Sprints & the USAC Midwest Thunder Speed2 Midgets will also be in action for the evening. This will mark the first series visit at Fremont Speedway since June 24, 2017 and the 18th-ever series visit. At Fremont Speedway on Saturday May 3, the pits will open at 3:30 pm and stands will open at 4:00 pm, the drivers meeting is slated for 5:15 pm and motor heat and hot laps rolling out around 5:45 pm. Adult general admission is $25 with seniors admitted for $20 while student tickets are $15. An adult pit pass will be $40.

The tire rule each night will be Hoosier NLMT 2 anywhere with a NLMT 3 RR option. The RaceCeiver channel for Attica on Friday is 452.80000 and the channel for Fremont Speedway is the default channel 454.00000. The series entry fee is $50 each night. The tow money for Attica is $124 and $75 for Fremont.
