Three Nights of Dwarf Car Nationals this Week!
Santa Maria Speedway will play host to Round #4 of Dwarf Car Nationals this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Western States Dwarf Car association will invade the third-mile clay oval in a highly anticipated throw down representing seven Western States. SoCal Dwarf Car Association, who have already raced on the Coast in 2025, will be hosting the event at Santa Maria Speedway for the first National event at the track since 2018. Coastal Creations Financial Mini Stocks are also a part of the event all three nights
Thursday night will feature two hours of practice for all Dwarf Cars and Mini Stocks. Practice will begin at 6:00 PM. Once the clock turns over to 8:00 all attention will be turned over to the "Big Dog" title for Dwarf Cars. All drivers who want to pay in and participate will be given an individual qualifying effort to top the charts with the best time. The winner will take home a trophy and the money!
Friday will feature a full night of racing for both Dwarf Cars and Mini Stocks with Heat Races and Feature Events. The Dwarf Car feature will lock in ten drivers in Sportsman, Vet and Pro divisions for Saturday's big dance.
Saturday will feature a full night of racing for Mini Stocks and the remainder of drivers that have not locked into a feature event in Dwarf Car divisions. The locked in drivers will race in a Fash Dash to set the lineup order for the first five rows of the feature event.
Earlier this season when SoCal Dwarf Cars raced at Santa Maria Speedway, the hometown boy Brandon Wiley defended his home turf scoring the feature event victory.
Justin Jackson is a perfect 2-for-2 in Coastal Creations Mini Stock racing in 2025. He goes into the weekend as the divisions' points leader ahead of Gary Rayburn Jr and Bob Dias.
Fan gates will open at 4 PM each night, with practice beginning at 6:00 PM on Thursday and racing beginning at 6:00 PM Friday and Saturday. Pre-sale tickets and ticket information can be found at www.SantaMariaSpeedway.net. Concession stands, merchandise and beer booth will be available for fans.
