Alex Midkiff in POWRi IMRA Victory at Spoon River Speedway
Belleville, IL. (6/15/25) Upholding ‘Land of Lincoln’ battles in the 2025 season, the seventh sanctioned seasonal event in the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would find Alex Midkiff earning the feature win to notch his fourth career series victory while battling at Spoon River Speedway.
Starting the night of POWRi-sanctioned on-track battles, IMRA would find Alex Midkiff go perfect in the early competitions by putting down the quickest hot lap time of 14.345-seconds as well as notching the heat racing win and gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event.
Dominating the night in green flag feature racing would find Alex Midkiff clinching the front of the field as the checkers waved after leading a fifteen laps in the feature to earn the Spoon River Speedway feature event as second-starter, Dominic Bruns placed a solid runner-up.
Staying consistently close to the leaders from starting fourth, Jedd Ross would finish third as James Picardi placed fourth with Shane Morgan rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Spoon River Speedway.
