Attention Hobby Stock Drivers

Attention Hobby Stock: It's time for a inspection of your cars. If you are racing with us this Saturday June 21st be there early as we will be inspecting them. You have to be cleared from tech by 5:30PM. Please bring your cars down to the front of the parts building from 3:00PM till 5:30PM. You must bring your racecar to the parts building during that time to be eligible to race. Only 1 person will be allowed with the car during this time. It's time to check all electronics, suspension points. Wheelbase and frames. Please be on time. If you do not race with us this weekend, you will be checked the next time.

HOBBY STOCK RULES 2025
FRAME & BODY
OEM passenger cars 1967 or newer trucks S-10 & Ford Rangers only minimum wheelbase 107.5" max of 1" difference from side to side.
Fames must match body being run and match factory frame measurements.
Body must be OEM in OEM location with the exception of the doors, doors can be made of racing aluminum to overlap on fenders and quarter panels, all windows must be removed, aftermarket noise and tail pieces allowed must match body, cars must have firewall from fenders to fender and hood to Floor pan. Floor pans must resamble stock including transmission tunnel. Floor pans must go from door to door and firewall to behind roll cage. Firewall must be within 3 inches from back of intake.Firewall and floor pans can be repaired with 22 gauge steel must keep factory appearance.
Weight: 3200 lbs after race with driver no burn off for fuel
ROLLCAGE
minimum 1.50 O.D. tubing .095 thickness four post center section with a minimum of 3 door bars on drivers side with a minimum of uprights connecting door bars together, steel door plate minimum of .049 thick on drivers side door bars from rear post to 6" in front of drivers seat, minimum of 2 door bars on Right side of cage, 1 halo cross bar required, engine hoop and down bars to rear of car required minimum 1.25 O.D. X .083 thickness

DRIVERS COMPARTMENT
minimum of 4, 1/2" windshield bars in front of driver, aluminum high back racing seat required, 5 point harness dated with in the last 3 years required, Drivers compartment can be fully enclosed with racing aluminum, battery disconnect switch in reach of driver and safety crew
SUSPENSION
front suspension unaltered OEM in OEM location, steel A-frame bushings allowed, OEM style ball joints no adjustable ball joints allowed, no chains or cables allowed, Upper A-frame mounts must be unaltered oem in oem location, Upper and lower A-frames must match frame,(aftermarket tubular upper A-frames allowed using oem factory mount)
No screw jack's allowed, springs and shocks in stock location
Rear suspension all components must be stock in stock location No independent rear suspension allowed, 9" floater rearends allowed,
Trailing arms can be lengthened or shortened, trailing arm bolts must be 2.25"-2.50" from bottom of rearend housing, rear coil spring cars can run adjustable spring cups no spring buckets allowed in the rear, no screw jack's allowed, adjustable top links allowed must be rubber bushing ends, leaf spring cars can run lowering blocks and shackles, no panhard bars, sway bars, chains or cables allowed, shocks must be in stock location
STEERING
OEM steering box only, OEM style steering components only, aftermarket tie rods allowed, bolt on spindle savers allowed, quick release steering wheel required, steering quickeners and remote steering reservoirs allowed
SHOCKS
One steel OEM mount shock per wheel, non-adjustable shocks only, no Schrader valve shocks allowed
SPRINGS
One spring in oem location per wheel coil spring must be 5" or 5 1/2 " od
TIRES AND WHEELS
Unaltered 205/70/15 passenger car tires only, no racing tires no recaps allowed,
Wheels maximum 8" wide steel wheels, Beadlocks are allowed
BRAKES
Four-wheel working brakes, must have oem front brakes and calipers, aftermarket rear disc with oem calipers allowed, aftermarket brake and clutch pedals allowed
ENGINE
362 CID MAX, cast-iron oem block, oem production cast-iron heads 23 degree only, roller rockers are allowed, no shaft rockers, no stud girdles, no bowtie or aftermarket blocks or heads allowed No 400 cid blocks allowed, all ID numbers must be visible, no grinding of ID numbers, solid lift cams only No roller cams allowed, engine must not be set back past #1 spark plug to left upper ball joint, 602 unsealed engine allowed
FUEL SYSTEM
1 carburetor only, cam driven fuel pump, no Dominators or Predators allowed, racing fuel cell required must be securely fastened and in a minimum 20 gauge steel container, no alcohol allowed
ELECTRONICS & BATTERY
Oem hei style ignition only, one 12 volt battery securely mounted, battery must be covered if in driver’s compartment,
TRANSMISSION & DRIVE SHAFT
OEM 3 or 4 speed transmission with all working gears or oem automatic transmission with all working gear and oem converter, steel drive shaft painted white minimum 2.5" O.D. two steel drive shaft loops required.
RACING TRANSMISSION WILL BE ALLOWED
