Holland posts trio of top-10 finishes in Week 1 of Summit Modified Nationals

Chase Holland embarked on the first week of the DIRTcar UMP Modified portion of the “Hell Tour” from Tuesday through Saturday. He turned in multiple strong performances in fields ranging from 30 to more than 50 cars.

The 2025 Summit Modified Nationals kicked off on Tuesday at the quarter-mile Brownstown (Illinois) Bullring, where Holland grabbed second in his heat race aboard his Bandit Crossfit No. 45 ride. He started eighth and finished sixth in the 25-lap A-Main.

Holland turned in his strongest performance of the week on Wednesday at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois. He set the overall quick time in qualifying at the quarter-mile track and won his heat. He started third in the 25-lap main event and came home fifth, taking the checkered flag behind Derk Losh, Cole Falloway, Nick Allen and Hunt Gossum.

On Thursday, the schedule shifted to the quarter-mile Peoria (Illinois) Speedway, where Holland finished third in his heat, but faded from seventh to 17th in the 25-lap feature.

After a Friday rainout at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, the first-week slate wrapped up at Fairbury (Illinois) Speedway on Saturday. Holland took the checkered flag in his heat race at the quarter-mile speed plant, then started fifth and finished seventh in the 30-lap A-Main.

He is currently third in the tour point standings.
