Cox attends BC39 at Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
After a rain-plagued month of June, Bradley Cox returned to competition on July 1 with a trip to Indiana for the seventh annual BC39 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
With over 60 USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship entries on hand for the prestigious midweek doubleheader, Cox opened Tuesday’s program by finishing seventh in his heat race, then advanced on with a fourth-place finish in the C-Feature. Needing a top-four finish in the B-Feature to transfer into the preliminary night’s main event, Cox ultimately came up short with a 10th-place result.
On Wednesday, Cox was placed into one of six qualifiers for a shot at the $20,039-to-win BC39 finale. His night came to an early end after catching the cushion wrong in turns one and two, resulting in a flip. Fortunately, he emerged from the incident uninjured.
