Midwest Legends Dirt Series
September Sets the Championship Stage for the MLDS
West Allis, WI (September 1st, 2025) - September will bring the end of the second Midwest Legends Dirt Series points season, but that doesn’t mean the excitement ends early with five major races to round out the regular season. The championship will wrap up, with the title still very much up in the air.
The month starts with two trips north to Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Wisconsin. The track will be the final new track for the season to host a points race and will host two quick races within six days. The first, Saturday the 6th, will give drivers a taste of the north woods before making another appearance on Friday the 12th for a non-points show. The first date will see the series along with weekly classes and the MSA Sprint Cars, while the series headlines the Fall Brawl on the 12th.
The series then makes a quick trip to 141 Speedway on Saturday the 13th. A final trip to the Maribel, Wisconsin track will challenge drivers for certain. Ryan Sullivan and Michael Weber have shared wins at the track this season and look to pick up more. The series joins the IRA Sprint Cars, with the night being able to be viewed on FloRacing.
The points season comes to a close with a massive weekend at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on the 19th and 20th. The track’s “Grand Finale” will be a somber event for many as the track that so many made their names and cut their teeth at closes its doors for one last time. The 2025 points season wraps up, with a record number of cars expected for the event. The series joins normal classes at the track and is ready to roll one last time.
With five races left, that means only a maximum of four-hundred points are still available for our drivers. Sullivan leads the way with Hayden Schmuhl right behind, only twenty-six points behind him. Adam Zellmer sits third, only seven points in front of Talyn Neuman in fourth. Lilly Fassbender finds herself in a world of her own in fifth, while Nate Werner, Rob Maule, and Connor Carey all close to each other, with only twenty-eight points separating them. Mike Swenson is all alone in ninth with Tim Franz rounding out the top ten, with Keith Carey close behind. Dallas Ross is twelfth with Mackenzie Maule, Cal Swenson, and Carson Grob the top fifteen. Keith Moline, Jeff Schmidt, Ryan Mech, Cade Reisdorf, and Ayden Erickson round out the top twenty.
