LATE MODEL CHASE WILL GO DOWN TO WIRE

Tight Four-Driver Race for NCRA Late Model Championship Continues This Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – September 12, 2018 - Just three events remain on the 2018 race season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model tour and with four drivers having a legitimate shot at capturing the series championship. The first of those remaining events will take place this coming Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.

Despite having yet finding victory lane, Marysville, Kansas driver Dusty Leonard comes into the night with a 55-point lead over 2001 series champion Delbert Smith of Wichita. Nebraska’s Cory Dumpert, who leads the tour with five feature victories on the season, sits just 70-points out of the lead while former series champion Dan Smith is just 75-points out.

Adam Popp, entering his second full season on the tour, sits fifth in the point standings while three-time and defending tour champion Chris Kratzer, Adam Schrag, Jimmy Segraves, Brandon Givens and Tony Foster round out the top ten in the standings.

Gates will open at 5:00 PM start time with race action slated for 7:00 PM. Adult general admission is just $15 while children eleven and under will be admitted into the grandstands for free.

Also in competition will be the series NCRA modifieds, the tracks weekly Thumper division and the Sooner Limited Modified Series.
