CHAPMAN - POWERS - KLIMA SIT ATOP POINT STANDINGS HEADING INTO SECOND WEEKEND
There may only be one race so far in the books for the 2021 season, but some familiar names sit atop the point standings for the 50th Anniversary of the National Championship Racing Association.
Dan Powers, of Wichita, Ks, heads the list in the Modified division by capturing the first checker flag of the season back on April 10th at Salina Speedway.
Darrick Klima, of Belleville, Ks, tops the list of the AAAModified aided by his win on opening night in Salina.
New comer to the NCRA Series, Toby Chapman, of Panama, Nebraska, holds down the number one position with the 305 Sprints of Kansas after an impressive win at Salina Speedway back in April.
Round number two kicks off at Salina Speedway in Salina, Ks, Friday night, May 7.
Despite no season ending awards banquet for the NCRA Series in 2021, the sanctioning body is recognizing a top 10 in point standings that will go into the record books in celebration of it's 50th Anniversary.
