The three primary classes of the series - Stock Non-Wing, Winged 'A' Class and Restricted 'A' Class - will race both Friday and Saturday at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas. The doubleheader is co-sanctioned with the Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region.
"We are excited to work with USAC this year and we can't wait to build on the momentum we created last year," NOW600 Series Founder Terry Mattox said. "The races we've had at Superbowl Speedway have always been great and we're looking forward to two top-notch nights of action to kick off this year."
This weekend will mark the first two of four scheduled shows this season at the bullring, which has hosted Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass the past two years.
Kyle Jones won two of the three Stock Non-Wing features last year at Superbowl Speedway with series champion Steven Shebester claiming the finale. Jake Nail swept the first two-day event in the Restricted 'A' Class before Ryder LaPlante captured the final race. Scott Sawyer and Marcus Thomas split the two Winged 'A' Class main events.
This weekend's races will reward drivers who run strong on Friday as the preliminary night winner in each class will start on the pole of Saturday's main event. The second through fourth finishers on Friday also lock into that starting position for Saturday's main event with the high-points driver following Saturday's heat races starting fifth.
Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6 p.m. each night. The drivers meeting and draw are slated for 4:30 p.m. both nights. If a driver is running late he or she can call Mattox at 918-417-0624 to be signed in.
Adult general admission tickets are $12 with children ages 7 to 11 and senior citizens only $7 each night. Children ages 6 and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per night.
