Coles County KKM Challenge Event Canceled Due to Weather; Focus Shifts to US-24

Belleville, IL. (7/16/25) Due to an unfavorable weather forecast combined with the inability to provide a safe and race-ready facility, the upcoming POWRi Racing KKM Challenge Series event scheduled for July 17–19 at Coles County Speedway has been canceled.

“With the forecast and the venue conditions we’re facing, we just don’t feel we can complete the entire event or guarantee a safe and competitive racetrack,” said Talin Turner, Series Director of POWRi Racing. “As much as we want to race, the safety of our teams and fans always comes first.”

All entry fees will be 100% refunded through MyRacePass via the original purchase method. Refunds have been processed and will appear in the coming days.

The POWRi Racing KKM Challenge Series will now shift its focus to the next event on the schedule at US 24 Speedway, where the nation’s top micro racers will regroup and return to action on July 31–August 2.
