Ponderosa Speedway Replaces Hidden Hollow for August 1 for Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man & Ultimate HoA Series
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 27, 2025)—Officials with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series, the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series & the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series have announced a few schedule changes.
The Friday August 1 date at Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, Ky. has been postponed to its new date of Friday September 12. Track owner Stephen Breeding wants to make sure he has everything in tip-top shape before opening his new racetrack which was built from the ground up.
On August 1, the trio of series will now head to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. for the 6th Annual Red Clay Bash paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start. The trio of series will then move to 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ky. on Saturday August 2 paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start for the Tim Breeding Memorial. We thank Ryan Willis at Ponderosa Speedway for stepping up in this late notice to take on this event on August 1. Former winners of the Red Clay Bash include Victor Lee, Chris Combs, Dustin Linville (twice) and Tanner English.

August 2-201 Speedway-Sitka, KY-$5,000 to win
Both events will be triple sanctioned with the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics and the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series. The tire rule each night will be Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3 on the fronts & left rear. The right rear will be Hoosier NLMT 3 & 4. Each series will receive two provisionals each night in the feature field. The entry fee will be $110 each night and $75 tow money will go to any car not making the field that starts the B-Main. The events at Ponderosa and 201 Speedways will also be Valvoline Weekend Allstars points events for the mini-tour within the American Late Model Iron-Man Series.
