Two Big Weeks on Tap for the MLDS

West Allis, WI (May 15th, 2025) - The first big test for the drivers in the Midwest Legends Dirt Series awaits with two big weekends on tap for the series. Four races and lots of unknowns for the series will separate the best from the rest as the season kicks into high gear.

The first challenge will be a doubleheader event at Thunder Hill Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The track’s Spring Chicken Challenge will mark the first time the series visits the 1/6th mile clay oval. Two full shows on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th will see the series team up with the Rolling Thunder Dirt Legends for the first time in the season. One driver will have the lucky chance at winning a Hubbco Tall Boy Lift courtesy of Benco Equipment and Castair Inc. Both nights will be live on MBTV Sports.

The next weekend sees the series go two in one weekend again, this time at Cedar Lake Speedway and 141 Speedway. Another collaboration with the Rolling Thunder Dirt Legends on May 24th, the MLDS visits Cedar Lake Speedway for the first time in the series history. Fans can catch the action live on RacinDirt.com. After, a trip out east, just under 300 miles, awaits the drivers the next day at 141 Speedway. A show that will be live on FloRacing, the series teams up with the IRA Sprint Cars for the first time this season. A track that legends have enjoyed in the previous years, drivers and fans alike are excited to be back at the track.

On the 16th at Thunder Hill, gates will open at 4:30pm with racing at 7pm. Saturday, gates are scheduled to open at 3:30pm and racing at 6pm. The next week, Cedar Lake Speedway is set to open pit gates at 3pm with grandstands set to open at 5pm.
