Roley Wins Exciting B-Mod Feature
A nice cool evening and a great track made for some good races. Three of the features were won by a driver who did not lead every lap.
The best finish of the night was in the B-Mod feature. Everett Bradham had led every lap until points leader Ed Roley made a pass to take the win.
Danny Schwartz jumped out to the front in the Modified feature and appeared that he was going to walk away from the field. A caution on lap 3 bunched the field back up. Marty Lindeman passed Schwartz on lap 16 to win the race.
Jesse Simmons took the early lead in the Factory Stock feature until Randy Smyser passed him on lap 10 to win the race.
In the hornet feature, Brandon Babb led every lap to take his second career win.
Jason Maier took the Street feature. It was his fourth win in four tries this year at the track.
Saturday will be the Freaky 40 B-Mod Special presented by Fencing Freaks. It will be a $4,500 purse, $700 to win and $100 to start. Also running will be Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Hornets, and Winged Late Models.
