Tim Sears Jr. Earns Outlaw 200 Starting Spot with Fulton Speedway Modified Win

By Dave Medler

FULTON, NY (July 5, 2025) – Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds put on sail panels with a coveted 39th Annual Outlaw 200 presented by Neivel Precision Plumbing starting spot on the line.

In the 35-Lap Sail Panel Showdown feature, Tim Sears Jr. took the lead at the hallway point and from there left the rest of the field to battle for second on back.

Other winners on Jammer’s Sports Bar & Restaurant – Monroe Mechanical Night. Hunter Hollenbeck (DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman) Brayden Bullock (E & V Energy Novice Sportsman) John Pietrowicz (Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks) Dylan Swiernik (Empire Super Sprints).

Wade Chrisman and Jordan Bennett brought the Modified field down to the green with Bennett grabbing the lead in the 35-Lap feature.

A yellow on lap 7 slowed the pace. Restart would see Bennett, Chrisman, Ryan Dolbear, Kyle Devendorf, and Tim Sears Jr. who raced into the top five from eight starting spot.

Lap 10 saw a tight race up front with Bennett, Devendorf, Marshall Hurd fast from ninth, Sears, and Ron Davis III the top five.

There was a tight six car tussle at the front on lap 15 between Bennett, Devendorf, Sears, Hurd, Davis, and Ryan Dolbear.

At the halfway point Bennett still led with Sears using the bottom of the speedway blasted into second and set his sights on Bennett. One lap later Sears went back to the topside and powered into the lead.

With 10 laps to go Sears was on rails driving away from the field. Bennett, Davis, Billy Dunn from 15th, and Devendorf fought for top five spots.

With no yellows the rest of the way there was no catching Tim Sears Jr. who went to victory lane for his second win of the year and the important Outlaw 200 qualifying spot. Billy Dunn, Ron Davis III, Marshall Hurd, and Amy Holland finished second through fifth.

The 25-Lap Sportsman feature had Mike Root and Joe Kline bring the field down to the green with a yellow on lap 2 when Root and Cale Gareau got together in turn four with others spinning in the incident.

On the restart Hunter Hollenbeck on the bottom of the speedway drove into the top spot.

Hollenback was out front by ten car lengthens leaving Kline, Gregg Carner, Cody Manitta, and Josh Livington to race for second through fifth.

On lap 7 Manitta was fast taking over second then setting his sights on Hollenbeck.

Lap 10 saw Hollenbeck on cruise control out front with Manitta still chasing him. Carner, Kline, and Mike Fowler showed in the top five.

Hollenbeck and Manitta still occupied the top two spots with 10 laps remaining. Carner, Emmett Waldron was making his presence felt coming from 17th and Josh Livingston was fifth.

Over the final laps Hunter Hollenbeck easily drove through traffic to sweep the weekend at Fulton and Brewerton. Emmett Waldron, Cody Manitta, Gregg Carner, and Dave Moyer completed the top five.

Brandon Barron jumped out to the lead in the 15-Lap Hobby Stock feature and by lap 5 opened an over one second lead. John Pietrowicz, Casey Cunningham, Keyton Doyle, and Aiden Galvin raced in the top five.

A yellow on lap 7 and restart would see Pietrowicz on the top of the speedway power his way into the lead.

On lap 10 the yellow would wave giving the field once last shot to steal the win away from Pietrowicz.

When the green comes back out to the checkers nobody challenged John Pietrowicz as he was the first under the checkers. Brandon Barron, Casey Cunningham, Brennan Fitzgibbons, and Adam Hunt were second through fifth.

Brayden Bullock led every lap of the 15-Lap Novice feature that was slowed by only one caution. For Bullock it was his second win of the season. Belle Hogan, Kyle Ridley, Chris Darling, and Parker Fowler completed the top five.

The Empire Super Sprints CNY Speedweek race number four had 31 cars in the pits to battle on the ‘Highbanks’.

Dylan Swiernik and Joe Trenca brought the field to the green for the 25-Lap feature with Trenca grabbing the early advantage.

By lap 5 Trenca built a lead over one second over Swiernik with Davie Franek, Jordan Poirier and Alex Therrien locked in a tight fight for third through fifth.

Trenca and Swiernik were in a two-car breakaway at the front of the field before a yellow on lap 9 tightened the field up.

On the restart Swiernik bolted to lead driving away from Trenca.

With 10 laps to go Swiernik was on rails out front. Poirier drove into second with Trenca, Franek, and Shawn Donath showing on the scoring tower.

With no yellows the rest of the way Dylan Swiernik went on to his victory. Jordan Poirier, Joe Trenca, Shawn Donath, and Dalton Rombough completed the top five.

Saturday, July 12 B & R Gage Development and Regional Truck & Trailer present a night of fast and family affordable fun racing.

Racing on the ‘Highbanks’ will feature Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, E & V Energy Novice Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks, plus the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour.
