Legend's Special & Kids Night - July 15th Results & Recap

The Jamestown Speedway was back in action on Saturday, July 15th for the Legends Special and Kid's Night presented by First Community Credit Union (FCCU). The weather was beautiful and the track was hot with racing action. A bunch of great battles throughout the night and hard-fought racing. Thank you so much to our sponsor First Community Credit Union for donating prizes for our junior fans along with 913 Graphics and Michael King for donating bikes for our fans. It was a great night overall and a lot of fun!

Overall, we had 85 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night.

Bombers/Pure Stocks - 17 Cars:

• Winner: Asher Williams (1st Jamestown Win!), Runner-Up: Travis Edinger
• Hard Charger: Erik Busche +7 (10th to 3rd) & Leann Christensen +7 (11th to 4th)

INEX Legends - 23 Cars - $750 to WIN!:

• Winner: Alex Kukowski, Runner-Up: Preston Martin
• Hard Charger: Preston Martin +9 (11th to 2nd)

Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 13 Cars:

• Winner: Jaren Wibstad, Runner-Up: Aaron Michel
  Hard Charger: Jaren Wibstad +7 (8th to 1st)

Wissota Street Stocks - 12 Cars:

• Winner: Rory Opp, Runner-Up: Spencer Johnson
• Hard Charger: Billie Christ +5 (8th to 3rd)

IMCA Modifieds - 15 Cars:

• Winner: Scott Gartner, Runner-Up: Jordan Sours
• Hard Charger: Jordan Sours +12 (14th to 2nd)

Jr. Slingshots - 5 Cars:

• Winner: AJ Matzke, Runner-Up: Jaxon Carow

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, July 22nd is Saturday Night Thunder, 1/2 Price Beer Night, and Night of Destruction with Corey Litton jumping through a camper at the Jamestown Speedway. All regular classes will be in action. The grandstand gates open at 5:30 PM and racing action begins at 7:00 PM. Hope to see everyone next week Saturday at the Jamestown Speedway!
