One - Two Lightning Sprints
The NLSA lightning sprint feature was a wild one. A restart set up a three wide battle for the lead which led to Alex Truscinski grabbing the point. Truscinski ran away from the field to claim his first win of the season at Buffalo River Race Park. Second would go to his father, Al, giving HENCHCRAFT a 1-2 finish.
The California Lightning Sprints visited Santa Maria Raceway with 21 Lightning Sprints signed in for another USAC sanctioned event. HENCHCRAFT driver Chris Dickey earned his second win of the season. With the win, Chris secured a 6th place in the season points standings at the midway point in the season.
