Limerock Speedway Opening Day Postponed Due to Weather
Mother’s Day Show on May 10 Now Set as 2025 Season Opener
Caledonia, NY - Persistent rain showers have forced the postponement of Limerock Speedway's highly anticipated Opening Day scheduled for Saturday, May 3. While the weather may have delayed the green flag, the excitement continues to build for the official kickoff of the 2025 season.
Limerock Speedway will now celebrate its Opening Day on Saturday, May 10, during our annual Mother’s Day Show. This family-friendly event promises a full night of high-speed action featuring all six of Limerock's weekly divisions:
270 Micro Sprints
All Metal Works 600 Winged Micro Sprints
Home Power Systems 600 Wingless Micro Sprints
Planter Box Direct 600 Restricted Micro Sprints
Junior Sprints
Vets Elite Roofing and Siding Quarter Midgets
In addition to the full racing card, young fans will be invited to participate in a Power Wheels race during intermission, adding extra fun and excitement for families.
Pit gates will open at 2:00 PM, grandstand gates at 4:00 PM, and the first green flag is scheduled to drop at 6:00 PM.
