Double “D” Danny Dietrich wins the Elijah Hawkins Memorial All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Feature presented by Valvoline at Lincoln Speedway

The NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline drivers made their second stop in Pennsylvania at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown. The PA Posse drivers would have another chance to compete with the traveling All Star Circuit of Champions racers to see who could take home the $8,000 payday for being the winner of the Elijah Hawkins Memorial. Chase Dietz and Freddie Rahmer earned the front row honors for the 35-lap A Main.

Rahmer would quickly jump out to the lead, followed by Dietz. After five laps around the track, Danny Dietrich was already showing he had his eyes set on the prize as he worked his way up to sixth place after starting in the tenth position, and he was methodically working his way to the front. Dietrich would slide under Kody Hartlaub and work on passing Kalib Henry. Henry, who was the current series point leader coming into this evening, would pull off the racing surface on lap six after he suffered mechanical issues. At the front of the pack, Freddie Rahmer was starting to pull away from Chase Dietz, but the leaders would soon find themselves in lapped traffic. Rahmer and Dietz would swap the top spot back and forth as they weaved in and out of lapped traffic, but all the while, Dietrich was continuing his charge to the front. Troy Wagaman Jr. and Matt Campbell were having their own battle for third when Dietrich joined in the mix. Double “D” would quickly get around Campbell and then go after Wagaman.

The top four were all within striking distance of each other, and the battle for the win continued as they all were shifting their lines as they were weaving in and out of the lapped traffic. Dietz would make his way around Rahmer for the lead, as Dietrich made his way around Wagaman for third. Wagaman, Rahmer and Dietrich would all battle for the runner-up spot, which helped Dietz find a little breathing room in the front for the moment. Campbell soon rejoined this group, making it a four-car battle for second place. Lap twenty saw Dietrich overcome Wagaman for second place, and he would start to reel in Chase Dietz, but soon the caution would fly on lap twenty-two, when the ride of Dylan Norris would slow on the front stretch. This brought the front runners all nose to tail, setting up a great late race battle for the win.

Dietz would bring the field back to the green flag with Dietrich, Wagaman, Freddie Rahmer and Campbell hot on his rear bumper with thirteen laps to go. Dietz would go high and Dietrich would slide low and the pair would shuffle the top spot back and forth between them. The top three were all within striking distance of each other and they all began a huge battle that would soon involve lapped cars. Dietz would drop down to the low line to try and make the pass but Dietrich was just too smooth in his driving. As the laps ticked down, Wagaman now rejoined the battle for the win and the top three cars were giving it everything they had to find their way to victory lane. Dietrich would score the victory, Wagaman would get around Dietz for the runner-up spot after Dietz tagged the wall in turn four and then bobbled across the finish line for third place. Freddie Rahmer would finish fourth and Matt Campbell rounded out the top five.

Winning the heat races were Kalib Henry (Premier Planning Services LTD. Heat 1), Ryan Newton (All Pro Cylinder Heads Heat 2), Dylan Norris (Adaptive One Calipers Heat 3), Zane DeVault (Bazell Race Fuels Heat 4), Danny Dietrich (Computer Man Inc. Heat 5) and Cameron Smith (Heat 6). The Level Utilities Dash was won by Chase Dietz. The C Main was won by Preston Lattomus. The Gates Corporation B Main was won by Chad Trout. The Capital Custom Trailers Quick Time was set by Ashton Torgerson with a time of 13.706. The Hoosier Racing Tire Hard Charger Award was earned by Devon Borden for finishing 8th after starting 21st.
