Crate Racin' USA Race Weekend at Senoia Canceled Due to Weather
(Eastaboga, AL - May 29, 2025) — The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series’ highly anticipated two-night race weekend at Senoia Raceway has been canceled. With an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms today, along with an identical forecast for Friday, both track and series officials have made the difficult decision to call off this weekend’s events.
The canceled weekend was slated to include a $5,000-to-win feature on Saturday night and twin $1,500-to-win non-points features on Friday night.
Senoia Raceway and Crate Racin' USA are already collaborating to increase the purse for the Saturday, August 16th event when the series returns to the track in less than three months. Details on the increased purse will be shared soon on the Senoia Raceway and Crate Racin' USA Facebook pages.
The series will now shift its focus to the Inaugural Jimmy “Pup” Thomas Memorial at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN, on Saturday, June 7th. This event, paying $10,000 to win, marks the series’ third all-time visit to the “Bad Fast Taz,” with previous winners including Ricky Weiss (2024) and Jimmy Elliot (2013).
