Tom Sweatman Wins Pro Late Model Main

South Sound Speedway on Saturday April 13, 2024, was full of excitement with five classes on hand. D & S Light Truck and Auto Pro Late Models, 6 cars for 50-laps, Olympia Auto Sales & RV Modifieds, 8 cars for 40-laps, Black Lake Towing Legends, 18 cars for 40-laps, Quality Quick Lube-N-Tune Bandoleros, 7 cars for 15-laps, and NW Focus Midgets, 15 cars for 25-laps.
Pro Late Model Main Event started with Eric Johnson Jr. on the pole, and Jeff Peterson on the outside. Johnson Jr. takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 4, turn 4, Trevor Flora spins Matt Barrett, bringing out caution number 1. Zach Riehl takes the lead on lap 8. On lap 9, turn 2, Flora and Barrett spin again, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 10, turns 1 and 2, Flora and Johnson Jr. spin, bringing out caution number 3. Tom Sweatman takes the lead on lap 12 and goes on to win the Pro Late Model 50-lap Main event, followed by Barrett, Riehl, Peterson and Johnson Jr. to round out the top five.
Trevor Flora had a fast time of 14.390.
South Sound Modifieds Main Event started with Jeff Henderson on the pole, and Jesse Sharp on the outside. Blake Harvey takes the lead on lap 1. Riley Watson takes the lead on lap 4 and goes on to win the South Sound Modifieds 40-lap Main event, followed by Dan Walker, Jesse Sharp, Gage Sharp, and Henderson to round out the top five.
Riley Watson had a fast time of 14.613 (Track Record).

Legends Main Event started with Rick McNeill on the pole, and Mason Nelson on the outside. Nelson takes the lead on lap 1. Danny Arnold takes the lead on lap 8. Andrew Riehl takes the lead on lap 12 and goes on to win the Legends 40-lap Main event, followed by Chris Bellanca, Kyle Kinzebach, Dylan Wolf, and McNeill to round out the top five.
Andrew Riehl had a fast time of 14.348.
William Evans wins heat race #1, Samantha Schwarz wins heat race #2, and Dylan Wolf wins heat race #3.
Bandoleros Main Event started with Jace Ellis on the front roll. Ellis takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 1, turns 3 & 4, Bishop Brothers spins, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 4, turn 4, TJ Schlund spins, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 7, turn 2, Brothers spins again, bringing out caution number 3. Ellis goes on to win the Bandoleros 15-lap Main event, followed by Brothers, Rylan Presley, Schlund, and Kaiden Brown to round out the top five.
Jace Ellis had a fast time of 18.160.

NW Focus Midgets Main Event started with Jason Thomas on the pole, and Keegan Creager on the outside. Creager takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 1, turn 2, Brian Hayes and DeDe Shawley spin, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 21, turns 3 & 4, DeDe Shawley spins again, bringing out caution number 2. Creager goes on to win the NW Focus Midget 25-lap Main event, followed by Jim Guenther, Nick Evans, Alex Peck, and Thomas to round out the top five.
Tyler West had a fast time of 14.138.
Nick Evans wins heat race #1, and Jim Guenther wins heat #2.
