Rain cuts Landon Britt’s ASCS weekend in Kansas short

Landon Britt was set for a doubleheader weekend with the American Sprint Car Series in Kansas, but Mother Nature had other plans.

On Friday at Lakeside Speedway, Britt timed in sixth-fastest in his qualifying group and finished sixth in his heat race before a lingering rain shower forced officials to cancel the remainder of the program.

Saturday’s scheduled stop at 81 Speedway was also rained out, making it a washout weekend for the Memphis, Tennessee driver.
