Landon Britt Captures Greg Hodnett Memorial at Riverside International Speedway

American Sprint Car Series Doubleheader on Deck

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (7/23/25) – Landon Britt broke through for his first ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints victory this past weekend, claiming the Greg Hodnett Memorial at Riverside International Speedway behind the wheel of his Royal Swimming Pools / TJ Forged No. 10 Sprint Car powered by Moss Racing Engines.

The $2,700 payday marked Britt’s first win of the season and his second career ASCS-sanctioned triumph, with his first coming in late 2023 with the ASCS National Tour at Arrowhead Speedway. He also earned over $3,000 in bonus money for laps led.

“Man, this car was on rails tonight,” Britt said. “I can’t thank my team enough for giving me such a bad-fast hot rod. Things got a little tricky with all the restarts, but I’m glad I was able to hang on and pick up this win — especially in an event honoring Greg Hodnett. I can’t thank his family enough for putting this race together, and I really appreciate all of my sponsors who stand behind me. We’ve added a few new partners this season, and I’m thrilled to be able to represent them in victory lane.”

Britt’s weekend began Friday night with the American Sprint Car Series National Tour squaring off against the ASCS Sooner Region at Oklahoma’s Creek County Speedway for the fifth annual Don Swope Classic. After a fourth-place effort in his heat race, Britt slipped one spot in the 25-lap feature, finishing 14th.

Making the six-hour trek back to his home track of Riverside International Speedway on Saturday, Britt vaulted into the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints-sanctioned feature with a fourth-to-second run in his heat. Despite a handful of restarts, Britt powered to the front early and ran away with his first win of the season.

With the laps-led bonus and the $200 Hoyette Hodnett Wrench Award added to his winnings, Britt’s total payday soared from $2,700 to over $5,000.

Britt now turns his attention to a doubleheader weekend with the American Sprint Car Series. Action kicks off Friday with a rescheduled event from May 9 at Windy Hollow Speedway, followed by Saturday’s Sprint Car Showdown at Benton Speedway.
