Both JRR Motorsports entries make 31st-running of Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway
Entering a pair of drivers for the 31st-running of the Dirt Late Model Dream at the Big E, Daulton Wilson and Jason Jameson unloaded their JRR Motorsports machines at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday evening.
Wilson earned a spot in the $20,000 FloRacing show and went on to a record a Top-10 finish in ninth while Jameson did not make the show.
Daulton competed in the Thursday night preliminary, stopping the clock second-quickest in his group and finishing runner-up to Tyler Erb in the heat race. While Mother Nature pushed the feature to late Friday, WIlson started eighth in the $30,000-to-win show and scored a Top-5 finish in fifth.
Jameson was slated in Friday's preliminary night and qualified 11th-quickest in his group before falling back to eighth in his heat race. Jason made up a few spots in his B-Main but came up just short of making the A-Main.
With $100,000 on the line Saturday, both JRR drivers were able to earn a spot in the 100-lap finale. Wilson started third and finished second in his stacked heat race while Jameson made up five spots in his heat race before winning his B-Main and securing a starting position. In the finale, Daulton finished 17th and Jason finished 25th.
