Trey Mills attends Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora ahead of Summer Nationals run
Kicking off an extended trip out to the Midwest, Trey Mills unloaded his Mills Concrete No. 14 Longhorn and rolled into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday evening to kick off the 31st-running of the Dirt Late Model Dream.
Among an incredibly-stacked 85-car field, Mills finished fifth in his heat race and snuck his way into the $20,000-to-win feature with a second-place finish in his B-Main. Trey started 24th in the 50-lapper and finished 25th.
Slated for Friday's preliminary night, Trey qualified fourth-fastest in his group and grabbed a transfer spot in his heat race. Mills started from the seventh-row in the $30,000-to-win prelim and recorded a 23rd-place finish.
Hoping to make the $100,000-to-win Dream, Mills finished ninth in his heat race and despite a 17th-to-6th charge in the last chance showdown came up just short of making the finale.
Trey and his team now set their sights on the 2025 DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour.
