Cox races into Chili Bowl prelim at SageNet Center

Bradley Cox returned to the SageNet Center this past week as he shifted his focus to the Midget ranks for the 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink.

With his preliminary night scheduled for Thursday, Cox raced into a qualifier with an impressive fifth-to-second run in his heat race. Starting on the second row of his qualifier, Bradley advanced into Thursday’s preliminary feature with a consistent third-place finish. Despite a tough field and a visit to the work area before the race, Cox fought back to finish 21st.

Set for a soup run on Saturday, Bradley’s bid for his first Chili Bowl Nationals A-Main appearance came to an end with a ninth-place finish in his E-Feature.
