WoO’s Alabama Gang 100 at Talladega Short Track Up Next
RICHMOND, Ind. (04/23/25) – Tristan Chamberlain took advantage of an off weekend with the World of Outlaws and drove to his first win of the season at Moler Raceway Park behind the wheel of the Gibson Racing / Vision Woodwerx / KEG Nozzles No. 20c Infinity Chassis Late Model.
The 17-year-old second-generation driver led the final 12 circuits in Friday’s event to secure the $2,000 victory.
“We really needed this one,” Chamberlain said. “It feels great to finally get our first win of the season. I can’t thank Wayne and Holly Gibson enough for their support and belief in me—it truly means a lot. Hopefully, we can carry this momentum into Alabama this weekend for a doubleheader with the World of Outlaws.”
Looking to build momentum and break into the win column as the heart of the season approaches, Chamberlain and the HW Gibson Racing team made the short trip to Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) on Friday evening.
With time trials setting the grid for heat races, Chamberlain backed up the second-fastest qualifying lap with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Starting sixth in the 25-lap main event, Chamberlain quickly charged to the front of the pack. The Indiana native wrestled away the lead on lap 14 and led the rest of the way to secure his first victory of 2025.
He banked the $2,000 payday ahead of Bill Sheets, Blake Creech, Clint Keenan, and Kirk Phillips.
