Ninth-place finish in Spring Nationals finale at Lucas Oil Speedway

Clay Stuckey was one of 43 entries at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Spring Nationals.

After a forgettable night on Friday, Stuckey picked up speed on Saturday evening as he charged from eighth-to-fourth in his heat race to earn an eighth-row starting position in the $20,000-to-win feature. Clay raced to a Top-10 finish in the finale by finishing ninth.
