Won first modified race at Bridgeport Speedway when Doug Hoffman was the promoter. Broke my back in a racing incident at Grandview Speedway the first heat, of the opening night, was almost paralyzed. Had to have emergency surgery, have 2 titanium rods and 8 screws in my back. Was told by my surgeon I wouldn't be healed for a year, but was back in the car 4 months later and won the last race at Baps 6 months later. Won my first race at Big Diamond in 2017, 3 months before my father-in-law passed away and he was one of my biggest fans.
