Moore invades Lone Star State with World of Outlaws

Howard Moore followed the World of Outlaws (WoO) NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series to Kennedale (Texas) Speedway Park this past weekend for the two-day Cowtown Classic.

After failing to qualify for Friday's opener, Moore made key adjustments ahead of Saturday’s event, which paid off for the Tennessee driver. Following the sixth-fastest qualifying effort in his 20-car group, Howard advanced into the $12,000-to-win Cowtown Classic finale with a third-place finish in his heat. Rolling off on the sixth row, Moore rolled to a 16th-place finish in the 30-lapper.
