Tate Waugh
Woodstock, GA
Driver Information
Tate was born into a dirt racing family, his granddad ( Joe Trantham) raced cruisers 33 along with his uncles ( Shane and Cory Stansell) 34 and econo bomber at Dixie Speedway located in Woodstock, GA. He started racing karts in 2021, his uncle Cory was also well known in the kart community before he decided to dedicate his time to his nephews. Tate won his very first race the same night he made his debut, He is the 2022 Dawgwood green plate track champion. Unfortunately his Uncle Cory passed unexpectedly in May 2023, causing his family to take a break from racing all together. We are trying to get back into it for 2024 and really appreciate all the love and support that has been shown to our family in this difficult time. Tate has loved this sport for his whole life, appearing in his first victory lane photo with his grandad at just seven months old! As long as he keeps his passion for it we will do what we can to keep him in it. He studies it and spends all his free time Iracing to keep up his skills, but he will tell you there's nothing better than the real thing! He will race at GKK, and with the opening of Senoia Karting Complex that will most likely be his home track.
