Driver Information

Been at it for 42 years. NASCAR, ACT, USAC, PASS, Dirt Car. Driver, crew chief, chassis man are all jobs I've had at many levels in the sport. The driving always being my #1 choice of course. Started racing in 1983 right out of high school. Wasn't bought up in a racing family. Just determination and a lot of hard work to do something no one else around me was doing. Always loved fast cars, bikes, anything racy fast. Spent younger years peddling bike around old shut down paved go-kart track which fueled the fire. Somehow managed to be taken under the wings of some very good and prominent racing specialist along the way and learned as much as I could. I have never had any big sponsors, just some awesome local folks helping when they could. I always knew my place running against well-funded and crewed teams. Just raced the track and took what I could get out of any race day all while being mindful of those around me racing for points and racing them with the respect they deserved. Now I'm winding it down and running a 500CC micro-sprint for fun. Keeps me racing in an affordable way in a class of car that is so underrated. Micro sprint race cars are fast, challenging, and in most cases even more adjustable than the "bigger" cars/classes are. Now that I'm on a more manageable and affordable playing field I'm looking to lock down that ever elusive first win. Maybe, just maybe I'll get that chance to stand on the start / finish line one day and thank the racing world for the opportunity to have been so fortunate to do this. If the racing Gods will let me that is :)
