Driver Information
Hello, I'm MacKenzie. I race in the USAC/NASCAR Youth Series. I began my racing career at the age of 5 at MMRA in Waterford, Michigan, my home track, where I was accepted into their scholarship program. My parents initially enrolled me in the program to gauge my interest before making a significant investment. My father has a racing background, having competed in his Honda CRX at Mid-Ohio and WHRRI Tracks. My mother enjoys speed, often driving her 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.
Racing is my passion, and I enjoy traveling to Regional and National Races, as well as Quad City Races. The friendships I've formed at the tracks are a significant motivator for me. We maintain a friendly atmosphere both on and off the track. Currently, I compete in Unrestricted Animal, Heavy Honda, and Heavy 160. One of my fondest racing memories is competing at the Talledega Track a few years ago, where I accompanied Ryan Seig's #39 car during the Xfinity Cup Races. At the time, I was racing Jr Honda and had the opportunity to compete against Braxton Bush. I look forward to continuing my racing career throughout my childhood and potentially achieving success in the future.
Career Highlights
To date I have raced in these classes; Red Rookie, Blue Rookie, Jr. Honda, Jr. Animal, Heavy Honda, Unrestricted Animal and Heavy 160.
This will be my 5th year racing and my 3rd year traveling to race in the Midwest Thunder Series & Nationals.
