Raff Frisina
Gingin, WA
Driver Information
Having been brought up around the sport of speedway, Raff attended race meetings from a very young age and quickly fell in love with it. Fast forward to now, the teenager is enjoying racing around speedway tracks in his home state of Western Australia and is currently competing with his fair share of success in the Junior Formula 500s class.
Starting off at the age of eight driving around a speedway track built on the family's property in an Outlaw Kart, Raff soon hit the race track, which was the nearby Pinjar Park Speedway track, for the first time at the age of nine and has been competing ever since.
Raff ran two full seasons in the Box Stock category of Outlaw Karts, where the highlight for him was finishing third in the 2022-23 season West Coast Series point standings, before he moved up in the Outlaw Karts to the Intermediate class the following season, where he was able to quickly become a competitive force.
After three seasons, Raff graduated from the Outlaw Karts class and made the move into Junior Formula 500s. After two seasons in the Junior Formula 500s class, Raff has developed into one of the state's leading racers, and just this season gone has picked up two feature race wins at the Perth Motorplex and ran third in both the West Coast Series and Fast Friday Racing Series point scores
Looking ahead to the 2025-26 season, Raff has his eyes set on continuing to develop as a consistent front-running contender within the Junior Formula 500 ranks.
With the support and mentorship coming from fellow Western Australian-based Formula 500 racer Cody Turacchio, Raff is receiving plenty of guidance from one of the state's leading Formula 500 racers, as he navigates his way up the speedway racing ranks in hopes of one day moving into 410 Sprintcar racing.
