Driver Information

I was born in Winder, Georgia at Barrow County Hospital. When I was four years old, my daddy was taking a left hand turn through an intersection that was turning yellow to red. He was driving a 79 Caprice. The door swung open and I barrel rolled into the intersection from the passenger side. I've been a hell raisin' sob since. When I was five years old, I met Dale Earnhardt at Lanier Speedway in Braselton, Georgia. I told him I'd grow up to be like him one day and I'd wreck him. Fast forward 25 years later and I finally had the funds to go racing. Quit my corporate job at 27 to pursue my own business, so that I could afford to race. I once got right reared and smacked the wall, drivers side, and flipped the race car, only to get back in it an hour later after we replaced all the suspension and shocks. Concussed and all. I don't subscribe to the pussification of society. I grew up tough. My parents were alcoholics and I was driving them back and forth to the casino at 8 years old. My daddy killed himself in 2018. The year I bought my first race car. We were supposed to go racing together. It was one of the only things that ever united us. He made it to my very first race and 3 days later, he took his life. I race in an Old School Winston Tshirt he got from Winston Rewards back in the early 90s from collecting labels on Marlboro Cigarettes in honor of him. I once knocked a guy out cold after a race for moving me on the last lap of a race. I was arrested and escorted out of the track by squad car. In the state of North Carolina, I've been arrested and booked as a fugitive and a felon. Those charges have since been dismissed. At the racetrack when the helmet goes on, I'm the guy you just read about. An All American Outlaw, hell bent on flirtin' with disaster (true racers know what video game that song lives rent free in our heads from) and I medicate my pains of yesterday with speed and thrill. Outside of the track, I'm a successful business owner of a Real Estate Company. I have a beautiful wife named Katie and three kids. Maddox, Madilynn, and Gatlin.
