Dotson fifth with Spring Nationals at East Alabama Motor Speedway
Shaking down the ASD Motorsports No. 2X machine over the weekend, Ethan Dotson went to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon to join the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the doubleheader weekend.
Starting 12th in the $8,000-to-win main event, Dotson took advantage of racy surface and charged all the way to the Top-3. Ethan battled with the leaders for much of the 40-lapper before late contact with the wall sent him to the back. He recorded an 18th-place finish at the checkers.
After Saturday's finale was rained out, the ASD crew made the trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday instead.
With $10,053 on the line in the feature, Dotson recorded a Top-5 outing in fifth. He trailed Brandon Overton, Tyler Erb, Cody Overton, and Wil Herrington.
