ASD Motorsports records seventh-place outing in Dairyland Showdown opener at Mississippi Thunder
Losing Thursday's opener to lingering rain showers, Ethan Dotson unloaded his ASD Motorsports No. 74X machine at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the now two-day Dairyland Showdown.
Among a 44-car World of Outlaw field, Dotson nabbed the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat race and started 13th in the $25,000-to-win feature. Ethan passed six competitors to land a Top-10 finish in seventh.
The following night, Dotson did not have a favorable night as he was an early retiree in the $30,000-to-win finale and finished 26th.
Dotson currently sits sixth in the series point standings.
