Ethan Dotson wraps up long weekend with fifth-place outing at Lincoln Speedway
Joining the DIRTcar Summer Nationals for one night before the World of Outlaws weekend, Ethan Dotson rolled into Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) on Thursday for the $5,000-to-win Hell Tour show.
Finishing runner-up in a heat race, Dotson started seventh in the 30-lapper and rounded out the Top-10 in 10th.
As the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series joined the fray for the weekend, Dotson recorded finishes of 21st and 19th during the Firecracker Faceoff weekend. Ethan also competed in the UMP Modified portion of the weekend and landed a runner-up finish to Trey Jacoby on Friday night.
The ASD Motorsports team saved the best for last and wrapped up the weekend with a fifth-place outing at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday.
Dotson is now ninth the World of Outlaw Series points.
