Spencer Diercks scores fifth-place finish in Nippy 50 at Maquoketa
Spencer Diercks’ 2025 season kicked off over the weekend aboard his Diamond Builders No. 29 Modified for the Nippy 50 at Maquoketa (IA) Speedway.
After driving eighth-to-fourth in his heat race, Diercks’ carried his momentum into the opener as he drove forward eight spots to finish eighth.
On Saturday, Spencer advanced into the Nippy 50 finale with a runner-up outing in his heat race. With a $1,500 payday up for grabs in the feature, Diercks climbed one spot in the 25-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Drew Janssen, Brandon Schmitt, Troy Morris III, and Izac Mallicoat to the checkers.
