Diercks finds victory lane at Davenport during busy three-day weekend
Spencer Diercks kicked off a busy three-day weekend of competition with a visit to Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon for the Hawkeye Land 40.
Making up two spots in his heat race, Diercks started from the third-row in the 25-lap main event and moved up one spot to finish fourth.
At his home track of Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Friday, Spencer raced to a heat race victory and started of the front-row of the A-Main. Grabbing the lead from the drop of the green flag, Diercks led wire-to-wire to score his first victory of the season.
Diercks wrapped up his long weekend at Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway on Saturday evening as he charged from ninth-to-second in the feature event and ran runner-up to Jeff Larson.
