Kicking off 2016

As has been the case for the Adam Armstrong Racing team for quite a number of years, we made our way to Abilene Texas in February. This has always been what I feel a great time to see what you got from the build in the winter and get all the bugs worked out so you are ready when weekly racing starts at home. We had some pretty decent weather for once and this year, they changed it from a 3 day show to a 2 day. We had a real good car in practice on Thursday so we knew we were ready to go. Went out on Night #1 and picked up the feature win which was extra special as it was my career 100th Feature win. Was hoping to get #100 at home but when it comes to a win, you take them where you can!! Went back out on Saturday night for Night #2 and picked up the Feature win again. Very pleased with the car and how it handled and performed. My Dad has done his homework for our engine program and it shows every time we take to the track and my JetStrong Hobby Stock chassis is the best car I've ever designed and built. Was a great way to start off the 2016 racing season.
